The safety and well-being of competitors, experts, delegates and visitors is always our top priority. Considering the latest development of the novel coronavirus outbreak and the precautionary measures as advised by the Hong Kong SAR Government, the WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition and Carnival 2020 originally scheduled for 15-16 May 2020 will be cancelled.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all competitors, experts and delegates from around the world for the support to WorldSkills Hong Kong all along.

Getting There

The WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition and Carnival will be held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wanchai, at the heart of the city.

Visitors can walk to the HKCEC from the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) Wanchai station or the Wanchai Ferry Pier within 10 minutes.

Coming to Hong Kong

A) By Plane

Come to Hong Kong by flight! The Hong Kong International Airport provides a world-class experience for visits, with efficient check-in and immigration arrangements, tourism information and extensive transport network to reach the city centre in just 30 minutes!

B) By Train

Through-train intercity services are run between Hong Kong and Guangdong province, Beijing and Shanghai. The through-train terminus is located on Kowloon, Why not take a train-tour to China after visiting the Competition and Carnival?

High Speed Rail provide cross-boundary land transport between Hong Kong and 58 Mainland stations in China. The terminus is Hong Kong West Kowloon Station which is located at city centre.


Participants can make a hotel reservation through online registration to be available in February 2020.


A half day local tour will be provided on 17/5 (Sun) for competitors. Details will be given later.
